Fixtures Changed/Called Off

It has come to our attention that games are being still being called off/changed without the permission and or knowledge of the relevant Fixture Secretary despite a prior notice being published.
Any more of these breaches of Rule brought to our attention will be dealt with under DDSL Rules and the possibility of points being awarded/deducted will be considered.
Under no circumstances are any fixtures to be changed or called off in the future without permission from the relevant Fixture Secretary.
Some Divisions have so many games left including Cups that it is just not possible under any circumstances to grant cancellations even with two weeks notice, unless it is an extreme emergency.
Remember the only closed weekend in D.D.S.L football is the Easter weekend.
Please also bear in mind the amount of games being lost through bad weather and it could still be another week or two before we get back playing properly.
We are aware some age groups have First Communions and Confirmations coming up,we are also aware that the majority of Parents know the dates affected,we would ask all Team Managers to consult with the Players and Parents at those age groups and give the dates to  their Club secretary who in turn should forward cancellation request immediately to the relevant Fixture Secretary.
