Safeguarding
A dedicated Ethics Committee oversees child welfare at Esker Celtic. If something doesn't feel right — on the pitch, on the sideline, online — this is where it gets dealt with, properly and confidentially.

The Bigger Picture
Football is part of growing up, not the whole of it. Decisions are made with a child's whole development in mind, on and off the pitch.
Player Experience
How a child feels leaving training or a match matters as much as anything that happened during it.
Enjoyment
If it isn't fun, nothing else works. Every session should leave players looking forward to the next one.

Named officers
Paul Cleary is the Club Children's Officer (CCO). Colm Young is the Designated Liaison Person (DLP).
Either can be reached through ethics@eskerceltic.ie. Concerns are handled under the club's concern and complaint procedure, in line with FAI safeguarding policy.

Insurance
Personal accident cover
Players are covered by a personal accident policy, with a €150 player excess per claim. League players (U8–U18) are insured through the DDSL as part of league registration; Academy players are covered by the club's own policy. Questions about a claim go through the club.
