Esker's coaching philosophy is simple: every player gets a positive experience of football, guided by what's best for their own development and wellbeing. Here's who keeps that promise.
Kevin Doyle
Chairman of the steering group and a 20-year Esker veteran. FAI Youth Cert and National D Licence, QQI Level 6 in sports psychology, with specialisms in small-sided games, strength & conditioning, and Football For All.
Marcin Szwakop
Appointed in June 2025 after five-plus years with the club. Leads the girls' academy intake and the pathway from first session to first team.

Most Esker coaches are parents who signed their child up and never quite left. The club supports them with courses, vetting, mentoring — and asks parents on the far touchline for patience and encouragement in return.
