Esker Celtic FC Under 12.2 vs St Kevins Under 12

Our u12.2 Sunday side welcomed St Kevin’s Boys to Hermitage Park this weekend. Following a few disappointing results in previous weeks, Esker started the game tentatively and found themselves a goal down mid second half. The team demonstrated their resilience by battling their way back into the game against an excellent SKB side.

Mid second half, the game erupted when Ethan rose to head home David’s terrific corner kick. A minute later, Rob C capitalised to put it on a plate for Pearse to tap home. Esker dug deep with some fantastic defending, particularly our centre defensive partnership of Paraic & Rob, with a few stunning saves from Jan thrown in.

A real show of determination to see out this all-action game. Best of luck to our opponents for the remainder of the season.
